Tis the season to be jolly and thankful for the things we take for granted every single day. With Christmas fast approaching, many people are crossing off what they are going to be giving this year. The holiday spirit is alive in many homes and hearts, but what about those who don’t have access to the basic necessities of life? Those who don’t receive gifts and those who have never seen a tree lit up with lights as they have no electricity? Those who don’t even have access to clean, safe and reliable water to drink?

The Water Project and their bold initiative

The Water Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses on providing safe and reliable water projects to communities in sub-Saharan Africa who suffers from a lack of access to clean water and proper sanitation. They’ve been around for 9 years and are currently the lead charity partner of the BitGive Donation Transparency Platform.

Blockchain Technology for Good

This Christmas, we are participating in The Water Promise and are donating 0.2016 BTC to The Water Project in providing clean water for those who need it most. Every single cent will be put to this good cause, and you can help keep the water flowing by donating some bitcoins.
